Training
At van Hessen we realize that YOU are our main asset. We know that if we look after our employees, they will return the favor and stay motivated to become the best version of themselves within the company. Training is a very important part of this proces.
We have several training facilities across Europe so our employees can get to know our production facilities and gut rooms. Once our new colleagues are trained, they will have the opportunity to work all over Europe.
How do we train our employees?
Before you start working at a Van Hessen location in the Netherlands or Belgium, you will receive five days of training at the Toledo training centre in Spain, so you’re aware of all the ins and outs of the gut room, the job expectations and your day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
After your training, you will then travel to your ultimate working destination in the Netherlands or Belgium. Your transport will be arranged for you. Most likely, you’ll arrive there on a Saturday and you will be expected to start your first shifts on the Monday thereafter.
If you are from Bulgaria, Hungary or Romania
You will receive training at the facility of the country that you will be working in.
If you are from Spain or Portugal
You will first visit the gut room in Toledo, where you will be trained for 5 days before you will move to one of the other countries in Europe.
